Another compounds that can block pipelines, cause economic and environmental damage during gas production and transportation are gas hydrates (Khatinzadeh et al. 2020). The most used method to inhibit the formation of gas hydrates is the use of chemical inhibitors (Bahadori 2015). Ethylene glycol and methanol are used as gas hydrate inhibitors (Kan, Fu, and Tomson 2003). As an aid to ethylene glycol, ethanolamines can be used to form salts useful as corrosion inhibitors in oil drilling fluids or as ethylene glycol antifreeze (Knaak et al. 1997)
