Fecal incontinence (FI) is a common chronic disease in the population, which is defined as involuntary loss of solid or liquid stool in varying amounts. It will not only cause physical inconvenience to patients, but also cause psychological barriers and cause great mental harm [1,2]. The various surveys (ref 3–6) show that the overall prevalence of FI in adults is between 1.4% and 19.5% and increases with age [3–6].
