Hair bleaching is used to lighten hair color. Hydrogen peroxide and ammonia are used to open the cuticles and strip the cortex from eumelanin.[11] Ammonium persulfate, potassium persulfate, and sodium persulfate are inorganic salts added to hair-bleaching products to accelerate the oxidation reaction. Several cases with immediate-type skin and respiratory reactions have been reported after exposure to persulfates.[38,43–51] The mechanism of the immediate-type reactions to persulfates is unclear. It seems that persulfates induce histamine release through slow mast cell degranulation.[52] It was also shown that these reactions can be immunoglobulin E–mediated in certain patients.[50] However, other studies could not demonstrate specific immunoglobulins to persulfate salts.[53,54]

Malathion with 98% purity was obtained from Merck Germany Company and the persulfate salt was prepared from Aldrich Company. CNT (Iranian Nanomaterials' Pishgaman Company), iron sulfate, iron chloride, isopropanol, methanol grade HPLC, acetonitrile, sulfuric acid, sodium persulfate, hydrochloric acid, and syringe filter were purchased from Sigma America, Merck Germany, and Chemlab Belgium. Additionally, the ferric sulfate and ferrous sulfate were exploited by the German companies of Fisher and Merck for the homogenization or homogenous system. In the following, to synthesize Fe3O4@CNT magnetic nanoparticles, 0.1 g of vitamin C with two solutions of four aqueous iron chloride (II), (FeCl2•4H2O), and six aqueous iron chloride (III) (FeCl3•6H2O), were initially mixed in a ratio of 1 into 2. The role of vitamin C was to inhibit Fe2+ oxidation during the reaction. The obtained solution was stirred for ten minutes. Afterward, the pH of the solution increased to 10 using ammonia solution (25% by weight). The obtained solution was then placed in an ultrasonic bath (at 80° C) for 30 min. The synthesis of Fe3O4 nanoparticles was obtained with this reaction Equation (6):

rhBMP-2 was a gift from Rebone Biomaterials Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China). RhVEGF165 was obtained from Peprotech Inc. PLGA (LA:GA =50:50, Mw = 2 × 104 and 1 × 105) was purchased from Jinan Daigang Biomaterials Co., Ltd. Porcine type A gelatine (approximately 300 g Bloom, G1890), the metal-complex tris (2,20-bipyridyl) dichlororuthenium (II) hexahydrate ([RuII(bpy)3]2+), sodium persulphate (SPS), Human BMP-2 Elisa kit, Human VEGF165 Elisa kit and fluorescein isothiocyanate-phalloidin (FITC-Phalloidin) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO). 26SCS was prepared in our previous study [20]. All cell-culture related reagents were available from Gibco (Grand Island, NY).

In this research, sodium hydroxide (NaOH), ferrous sulfate heptahydrate (FeSO4·7H2O), hydrochloric acid (HCl), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), sodium persulfate (PS, Na2S2O8), sulfuric acid and nitric acid were obtained from Merck, Co. but, Meropenem and Ceftriaxone antibiotics powder (high purity (>98%)) were purchased from Sigma Aldrich, Co. In order to prepare the antibiotics stock solution, a special dosage of powder of antibiotic was dissolved in distilled water which was followed by diluting in different concentrations. Antibiotics stock solutions were stored in a cold room (4 °C) until use.
