Two major pulmonary tuberculosis diseases namely, Cavitary and Miliary tuberculosis of the lungs are addressed in this work. Cavities are gas-filled spaces within a nodule nearly spherical in shape, which are of the diameter of 1 cm to 6 cm. They mostly invade the upper lobes of the lung since they are highly oxygenated [4]. Cavitary TBs are reactivation TBs that can be labeled by its wall thickness, which helps the physician to differentiate between malignant and benign cavities.
