independent control to vary the output. May be used where a constant level of background warmth is required. Parabolic reflector fire has the heating element in the focal point to create efficient radiant heat output. Wall-mounted fan heaters usually provided with a two-speed fan to deliver air through a bank of electrical elements at varying velocities. Direction is determined by adjustable louvres.

A temperature chamber (Zwick GmbH & Co. KG., Ulm, Germany) was installed to test the adhesive films under the defined temperatures of Tmin. = −30°C and Tmax. = +80°C as required for structural components in vehicles, which is caused due to the operating temperature of most passenger cars. The temperature of Tmax. = +80°C was reached by using the integrated fan heater. To reach the temperature of Tmin. = −30°C the chamber was connected to a cryogenic storage dewar (Lactan Chemikalien & Laborgeräte GmbH & Co. KG, Graz, Austria) which was filled with liquid nitrogen. The automatically conducted temperature regulation of the chamber was activated as soon as the door of the temperature chamber was closed to keep a constant temperature throughout the whole testing time.

As shown in the schematic diagram (see Figure 4), the sensor (pH, DO-dissolved oxygen, and temp.) modules were connected to corresponding input pins in the Arduino module. DO and pH sensors used BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) as its connector while temperature sensor was soldered directly to its sensor module. Solid state relays connected to corresponding power outlets where fan, heater and motors are to be connected. The positive port of the SSR (Solid State Relay) was connected to the Arduino module while the negative port was on the ground. Moreover, the Arduino controller is connected to the Raspberry PI. A lithium battery slot was provided to ensure time and date is on and synchronized. A step-down converter’s output was connected to the Arduino and raspberry pi while the input port was connected to the battery. Its purpose was to lower down the voltage to 5 V [17].
Energetic and exergetic performance simulation of open-type heat pump dryer with next-generation refrigerants

The mathematical model of the considered HPD has been developed based on energy and exergy balances of each component (compressor, evaporator, condenser, expansion device, fan, heater, and dryer). The following assumptions have been made for analysis:The steady-state operation of HPD is considered. The heat transfer of component with ambient is negligible. The ambient conditions and specific heat of the air remain constant. The process of refrigerant in the compressor is adiabatic but not isentropic. The pressure drop of refrigerant in the different component is negligible.Conductive resistance of evaporator and condenser tubes is neglected.Air in the dryer follows constant wet-bulb temperature line on the psychrometric chart.
