The HIL experiment platform is shown in Figure 22. The HIL experiment platform consists of hardware and software. The hardware platform consists of NI real-time simulator, Bloomy battery simulator, Chroma programmable power supply, and vehicle rapid prototype controller. The software platform includes man–machine interactive display platform, mathematical model, and communication system. Mathematical models include the AMESim vehicle model and the Matlab/Simulink controller model. AMESim vehicle model is downloaded into NI real-time simulator, and Matlab/Simulink controller model is written into the actual controller after compiling by software.
