The mechanisms above behavior well on predicting hot flame of octane. However, the process of cool flame is usually controlled by low-temperature chemistry. Meanwhile, the extinction limits of diffusion flames are more sensitive to gas-phase dynamics, surface dynamics, and transport than temperature profiles (Niemann, Seshadri, Williams 2013). Therefore, three iso-octane and two n-octane mechanisms with two ozone sub-mechanisms are validated by extinction limits, respectively.
