Basic Fundamentals and the Sequence Networks

For three-phase electric power systems there are three distinct sets of symmetrical components: positive, negative, and zero sequence for both currents and voltages. Throughout this discussion, the sequence quantities are always line to neutral or line to ground, as appropriate. This is an exception to the general power system practice of using line-to-line voltages. It is very important to remember that throughout the sequence networks, all voltages are line to neutral (to the neutral or the zero-potential buses).

The three-phase electric power is regarded as the usual technique for ac electric power generation, distribution, and transmission. Since PQ is being improved, the loss is compensated if the power is kept in the grid for an additional purpose. At the transmission line, the power is transmitted to the grid and the three-phase load. Therefore, the effective power compensation factor is carried out with the use of this suggested technique.
