As an example of showing the characteristics of the pressure profile, a detailed analysis is done for the curve for Test 1. As shown in Figure 11, the pressure in the blasting tube increases rapidly after the heater is activated. The rupture disc is destroyed when the pressure reaches the yield stress of the disc (point B in Figure 11). High-pressure fluid releases rapidly and the pressure in the tube decreases sharply. The pressure curve of the CO2 blasting process can be divided into three stages (Figure 11).
