Lithiophilite

Lithiophilite is a mineral that contains lithium and is found in pegmatites, along with other lithium minerals such as spodumene, eucryptite, petalite, montebrasite, lithiophosphate, sicklerite, and lepidolite. There were found the following lithium minerals in the pegmatites: spodumene, eucryptite, petalite, montebrasite, lithiophilite, lithiophosphate, sicklerite, lepidolite. Lithium admixtures were found in pink tourmaline, beryl, microcline, muscovite, pollucite.

The main rock-forming minerals of pegmatites are represented by quartz, plagioclase, K-feldspar, spodumene and muscovite and contain a giant spodumene crystals up to 1.5 m long. Secondary minerals are columbite-tantalite, beryl, lithiophilite, biotite, tourmaline, apatite, spessartine, sphalerite, pyrite, lithium phosphates, zeolites.
