The proposed algorithm also provides a reduction of SRD and SDD values for an order of magnitude. In case of medium signalling load, the mean SRD equals 26.15 ms (σ = ±1.73 ms) without algorithm’s usage and 3.83 ms (σ = ±0.51 ms) with algorithm usage. This may correspond to SIP call setup time of 46 ms obtained in the similar study of SIP performance metrics for VoIP over Long Term Evolution based mission-critical communications systems [33]. The percentage change in SDD is −85.34%. In the same conditions, the mean SDD equals 140.42 ms (σ = ±78.45 ms) without algorithm's usage and 125.28 ms (σ = ±151.32 ms) with its usage. These values are comparable to results obtained in the simulation study of basic telephony end-to-end SIP performance metrics [34]. The percentage difference in SDD between Scenario 1 and Scenario 2 equals −10.78%.
