Ad hoc on-demand distance vector routing (AODV) is a routing protocol that is used in wireless networks. It is an on-demand protocol that is primarily based on the ad hoc on-demand distance vector routing protocol. AODV is broken down into two processes, route discovery and route maintenance. In Din, Paul, and Rehman (2019) developed a theory for improving the abilities of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) using the 5 G-oriented Software-Defined Networking (SDN) framework for ITS. In addition, the proposed 5 G architecture offers high data speeds and bandwidth. The outcome reveals that the suggested system design outperforms the ad-hoc on-demand distance vector routing protocol.
