An increase to nine compounds detected for the intracellular metabolites after four weeks indicated further evidence of intracellular transformation. The compounds present were isoalkanes such as Dodecane and n-alkanes such as 2,4-dimethyldodecane. Tetradecane was common to both intracellular and extracellular metabolites. Eicosane was the most prominent intracellular metabolite with a total area % value of 29.50. The least abundant compound was 2,4-dimethyldodecane with an area % value of 2.22.
