Occupational workers should have safety data sheets at their respective workplaces. It is important to educate occupational workers as well as the general public about chemical substances and provide an updated collection of harmonized data on human poisonings. Chemical safety is inherently linked to other safety issues, including laboratory procedures, personal protective equipment, electrical safety, fire safety, and hazardous waste disposal. It is therefore important to halt the spread of the adverse health effects of chemical substances. Workers and chemical management teams must be aware of the properties, the mechanisms of action, the elements of good laboratory practice (GLP), and good manufacturing practice (GMP). Students, occupational workers, managers, chemical work management teams, and the general public should know that:Chemical safety = Knowledge + Common sense + Caution

Neglecting apparel safety gives rise to the recall problems of loss of economies and reputation, which may in turn impact on the profitability in the apparel enterprises. Chen confirmed that apparel safety and apparel recycling is becoming more and more important (Chen, Yan, & Gao, 2016). Apparel safety regulations and standards are growing, coupled with healthy consumption concerns growing at a much higher rate, increasing the needs for apparel safety. Apparel safety categories were classified as mechanical safety, flammable safety, chemical safety and external safety from technical perspective (Wu, Chen, & Zhou, et al., 2016). Apparel safety indicator inventories were further described and most of these indicators are in accordance with quality management items in the apparel industry (Chen, Yan, & Gao, 2016). Among these indicators, mechanical safety refers to apparel attributes have certain potential danger to children, such as drawstring/cords, small parts and other sources from design and production of children’s clothing (Chen et al., 2010; Zhou, Wu, & Chen, et al., 2010). Flammable safety is defined as the fabric or padding in apparel not meet the flammable requirements, which might cause burn to wearer and do harm to their health (Chen et al., 2008). Chemical safety means that the used materials in apparels contain residual poisonous and harmful substances which might cause unintended hazards to wearers (Chen et al., 2008; Zhou, Wu, & Chen, et al., 2010; Wu, Chen, & Zhou, et al., 2016). External safety is that the qualification and authenticity of product identification or labels not meet related safety regulations/standards, which will threaten person and property safety (Zhou, Wu, & Chen, et al., 2010). User safety needs and apparel attributes were presented in detail (Chen, Yan, & Gao, 2016). As indicated, Extensive studies have been conducted to associate the source of apparel-related risk. However, there is no study to measure consumer perception on apparel-related risk in a broader marketing context.
