Fluorinated alcohols were actively studied as diluents for different mixtures of crown-ethers. Dodecafluoroheptyl alcohol was used as a diluent for phosphorylated crown-ether – bis-(meta, meta’-diphenylphosphinyl)dibenzo-21-crown-7 (DPDB21C7) and it’s mixture with dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 (DCH18-C-6).[127] The formula of DPDB21C7 is shown in Figure 5.
