A 64 years old female patient presented to our department with facial asymmetry due to an extensive zygoma and orbital bone defect caused by a traumatic event that had occurred 6 months before. (Figure 1). She did not have any prior surgical treatment and presented diplopia (double vision), epiphora (overflow of tears onto the face) and a left infraorbital scar. At the initial consult, she had notable enophthalmia (eye that is abnormally sunken into the orbit), dystopia (malposition) of the left eye, movement impairment of left eye upward gaze, caused by the entrapment of the inferior rectus muscle.
