The majority of infections were caused by Campylobacter jejuni (82.4%) and Campylobacter coli (1.8%); the remainder by Campylobacter upsaliensis, Campylobacter lari, and Campylobacter fetus (<0.1%), and Campylobacter spp. (15.5%). The total number of hospitalised patients was 550 (21%).
