Minodronic acid have a strong evidence of the treatment for osteoporosis, but has not been shown to be effective as a prophylactic agent. Some previous studies have shown the efficacy of prophylactic minodronic acid administration for osteoporosis prevention after b-OVX in monkeys (Mori et al.2008, Mashiba et al.2017). However, there is no human data of minodronic acid for preventing osteoporosis.
