Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer
Published in Pat Price, Karol Sikora, Treatment of Cancer, 2020
Irene De Francesco, Sean Whittaker, Stephen L. Morris
Most cases present with red to violaceous papules, plaques, or nodules preferentially on the trunk and extremities.189 Multifocal lesions are frequent, ulceration is uncommon, and extracutaneous dissemination is very rare. Occasional spontaneous remission is observed, and the development of anetoderma in spontaneously resolving lesions is reported. Associated autoimmune disease is rare in PCMZL and suggests systemic lymphoma.

Published in Baylor University Medical Center Proceedings, 2023
Kimberly Nguyen, Aliza Epstein, Donovan S. Reed, Lani Hoang, Marie Somogyi
Initial medical management for multifocal infantile hemangioma includes systemic propranolol and/or prednisone.7–9 Surgical management of periorbital lesions is rare, but indicated in cases of failed medical management or functional impairment.5 Meticulous dissection of this large lesion resulted in preserved cosmesis and function of the eyelid. Complications of surgical resection of hemangiomas include residual telangiectasias, anetoderma, and scarring.5
