The PAM consists of a body weight system, a treadmill, and pneumatic cylinders, the PAM can be divided into a pair of subrobots, each having three pneumatic cylinders arranged in a tripod configuration supported by a height-adjustable pillar via universal joints. Force sensors are attached to each end of the pneumatic cylinders, they can be detached and separated to make sufficient spacing for the entry of an individual in a wheelchair [3,15].
