[28] has utilized a smartphone to recognize QR codes for object identification in the environments. The system uses a mobile camera that scans the 2D QR codes through a QR reader application. The reader decodes the information from the net and reports the data available with the QR code. In 2012, [29] created a unique obstacle detection system that is fully incorporated with textile structures for detecting impediments while moving in the environment. The system integrates the sensors and actuators into the dress of the PVI for pathfinding and obstacle detection. [25] has utilized analog-digital code (the largest storage capacity) for the storage of information about the products has been developed. This system effectively converts the text information stored inside the AD container to speech using text-to-speech. Chhajed et al. (2014) considered various issues in scanning a barcode detection using smartphones or mobile phones [30]. The problems are poor quality of images due to low resolution of mobile cameras, noise, non-illumination and distortion of the camera, etc. The proposed method even uses uneven illumination problems and objects of different sizes.
Mobile Music Marketing

QR codes can contain a phone number, text message, plain text or a URL. They are mainly placed in print materials as a convenience, allowing the reader to quickly access the online content as instructed via the code. QR code generators are available for free on the Web, and codes can be developed quickly and easily. From a QR code generator site, select the type of communication (URL, text, SMS, phone) and then type in the information (URL, phone number, etc.). An image will be generated immediately. Some code generators will allow for formatting, such as color, size, background color, etc. The image can be downloaded. (Go ahead and try out the code in Figure 15.3.)

The AR device should first recognize the PTM and retrieve the position and orientation relative to the virtual space before superimposing the virtual flood scene onto the PTM. Currently, it is challenging to recognize the PTM by computer vision directly through a camera; thus, we attach a fiducial marker at the bottom of the PTM to mark it. The fiducial marker is a quick response (QR) code-like AR tag that can be efficiently recognized by a camera. Fiducial markers are widely adopted in AR, one of which, with known size, can be used as an anchor to connect the virtual scene to the real environment. We can indirectly retrieve the accurate position and rotation of the PTM by recognizing the fiducial marker rather than the PTM itself. However, the recognition accuracy could be affected by the conditions of the real environment, such as variable lighting conditions, which could result in position or orientation errors and reduce the mixed accuracy. To address this issue, we add an interactive manual calibration procedure after automatically recognition by the camera (Figure 5). Occlusion in the visual representation

A mobile application for paring the IHCV and BLE beacon is developed. Supervisors use smartphone with camera function scan the QR code of BLE beacon and the IHCV plate number. In this case, the MAC address as the identifier of the BLE beacon tag is paired with the tractor/trailer. This operation is usually conducted once the BLE beacon is mounted on the tractor/trailer. Basic information such as the driver's name and IHCV type are also recorded in the application.
