Wake on LAN (WoL) [10] is an industry-standard protocol for waking computers up from a shallow power mode (hibernate/ shutdown) remotely by a small network message (magic packet). WoL message is usually sent by a program (or a user working on another computer that is present on the same LAN) to enable dynamic wake up.
