(1) Web Server: Web Server is an integral part of the system being designed. A web server on RPi can be used to host a full website, or just used to display some. A Web server can be accessed through the RPi remotely through a laptop by using SSH (Secure Shell). It is a cryptographic network protocol that ensures secure data transfer between computer and RPi. Apache is a popular web server, which is a program that listens for server access requests from Internet browsers and grants them if permitted. The web servers can be accessed using its IP address.

We use Apache 2 Web Server to run the server-side scripts and serve HTML for Dashboard and other features. Apache 2 Web Server is a robust open-source web server. It can be easily installed on modern IoT devices and servers. This application can be run on many other servers, too, including Nginx and Microsoft IIS.
