The usual way to encode is first to capture the video with a dedicated PCI card installed in the encoding workstation. The card converts the video signal into an intermediate format that can be handled as a computer file, usually one of the Audio-Video Interleaved (AVI) formats. AVI has become the de-facto standard for computer audio and video files. From this point on, regular desktop computer technology now can be used for downstream processing.

Based on the above described procedure, the animation representing the progress in mining works in the quarry of Lehotka pod Brehmi was created. The animation was subsequently exported to .avi (Audio Video Interleaved).

Various experiments were conducted using the MATLAB simulator to test the proposed chaotic-based video copyright protection technique by using the scene change detection methodology and SVD in the discrete wavelet domain. Standard input video sequences with a frame rate of 30 frames per second are chosen (Vipmen, News, and Suzie) in the AVI format. The MATLAB was used to conduct the experiments. The snapshots for sample videos and watermarks are shown in Figure 5(a,b), respectively.
