In all scenarios, 85% of the total ODP comes from one stressor: bromotrifluoromethane (Halon 1301), which is utilised as a gaseous fire-suppression agent in the upstream crude oil and natural gas production processes (Guest et al. 2011). Consequently, the truck tractor-trailer transport phases contributed over two-thirds of total ODP. The use of herbicides during the silviculture operations was another contributing factor to total ODP.
