A footprint taken using the pedograph was used to measure the weight bearing length and width of the foot. The length of the foot was measured from the most posterior aspect of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. The width of the forefoot was measured by marking the most medial aspect of the first metatarso-phalangeal joint and the most lateral aspect of the fifth metatarso-phalangeal joint (Figure 1). The distance between these two marks were measured.
