Plants play a crucial role in almost all ecosystem worldwide [1,2]. When the plants are infected with a virus, the infection might have an effect on both the plants themselves and the ecosystem that plats depend on [3]. From those plants, Maize (Zea mays L.), which is one of the most economically principal staple food crops for a large population in the world [4,5] mainly the underdeveloped African countries [4,6]. It is infected with many viral diseases. From these diseases, Maize streak virus is one of the most significant and widespread of maize that occur in Africa and it is found under the genus Mastrevirus [7].
