Sexual dysfunction is a prevalent problem in women with POI [10]. POI-related hormonal lack of balance affects women's sexual identity, sexual function, and sexuality. Reduced concentrations in estrogen and androgen hormones lead to reduced libido and arousal, vaginal dryness, and orgasm disorder [11]. Reduced estrogen levels help reduce the clitorises response, disrupt the reaction of the vaginal wall, and reduce vaginal contraction [12]. Patients with POI experience worse sexual function, less sexual arousal, and increased genital pain [10]. These patients also have significantly less sexual desire and experience less sexual pleasure [13]. Reduced sexual function in premature menopausal women can reduce the quality of life in women.
