The DF potential with DDM3Y nicely reproduces the differential cross section of the various elastic and inelastic scattering of the light ions from the molecular resonance region [43–45] to the higher energy region [40–42]. Moreover, the + core cluster model with the DF potential can describe the energy levels and the electromagnetic transition for the yrast states in 50 region [7,8,10,13,14,16]. The density dependence in DDM3Y increases the surface diffuseness in the DF potential in comparison to the M3Y DF-potential without the density dependence. Such the enhanced surface diffuseness is especially crucial in reproducing the angular distribution of the different channels simultaneously, which involves the drastic structure change, such as C 3 [44,46].
