The operative data comprise the measurements of voltage, current, phasor and position of breaker promptly done by the intelligent devices. The measured data are communicated unceasingly to control centre through the systems of communication. Sporadically, they possibly will be used in the local vicinity aimed at decision making. On the former side, the non-operative data principally entail the records of manifold events – for instance, sequences of faults, power oscillations, and instabilities. Archetypally, the non-operative data are off-line, which are communicated to the central control either in the quantified time breaks or by the requisition of the system machinist. Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and synchronised phasor measurement system (SPMS) are twofold operative data resources that will be studied. On the other hand, digital fault recorder (DFR), digital protective relay (DPR) and circuit breaker monitor (CBM) will be explored as non-operative data resources.
