The material involved in this study is ballistic gelatin (BG) which is considered in the literature as a good soft tissue simulant. Mathematical law needs to be implemented in the computation for the modeling of the mechanical behavior. Thus, similar to the study of Taddei et al. [25], the constitutive law of the ballistic gelatin proposed in this work is a combination of the Mie Gruneisen equation of state coupled with a constitutive law defining the deviatoric stress components of the stress tensor.
