Homeomorphic Spaces. Two topological spaces X and Y are said to be homeomorphic (or topologically equivalent) if and only if there exists a map L:X→Y $ L :X \rightarrow Y $ such thatL is bijective,L,L-1 $ L , L^{-1} $ are continuous.The map L is called a homeomorphism from X to Y. Any property P of a topological space X is called a topological property if every space homeomorphic to X also has property P.
