where x^i is the estimated position of the plane at the ith frame in the video sequence, ni^ is the estimate of the vector from the camera center to the tracked feature, and Im is the m × m identitymatrix. We use the hat notation over the vectors to indicate the presence of uncertainty error in the quantity. Typically, Earth-centered, Earth-fixed (ECEF) coordinates are used for convenience in this processing.
Planning approaches for stochastic capacitated lot-sizing with service level constraints

We consider a lot-sizing problem where final products with uncertain demand are produced directly from raw materials by a single machine with limited capacity. We find cost-optimal decisions that specify the timing and quantity of production to satisfy random demand under a prescribed target cycle fill-rate service-level. We use the following general notation style. A set is indicated by a capital letter in a calligraphic font, e.g. . Random variables are denoted by a hat notation, e.g. . Decision variables are indicated in bold. The vector of the elements of a decision variable or a parameter is created by dropping one or more indices, e.g. indicates the vector over all products in every period .
Change point detection and issue localization based on fleet-wide fault data

It is desired to estimate the change point and the subset of assets affected by the change. Toward this end, we propose the heuristic algorithm for multiple assets single change point (MASCP) detection shown in Table 2. The hat () notation is used to designate the resulting estimates.
