Your current location in the directory tree can always be obtained by entering pwd (for present working directory) on the command line. Starting from our original login location we would like to go various places and accomplish various things. Commands for such purposes will be discussed in subsequent sections. The presentation is organized by groupings of commands with similar or related purposes.

For a utility network, because its source node (SR) and sink node (SN) will be connected if any of their pathways are passable, their connection probability can be calculated by: where NPW is the number of pathways; PSR&SN,C(t) and PSR&SN,DC(t) are the connection and disconnection probability respectively; PPWd,IP(t) is the probability that the dth pathway is impassable; and t is the time variable.
