Keys to Information Quality in Personal Web Pages
Published in Marsha Ann Tate, Web Wisdom, 2018
A personal Web page is created by an individual who may or may not be affiliated with a larger institution. Personal pages are often used to showcase an individual's artistic talents, express personal views on a topic, or highlight a favorite hobby or pastime. A personal page can stand alone or be a part of a social networking site like Facebook. Blogs can also be considered a unique type of personal page. See Chapter 4 for a more detailed discussion of blogs and other forms of social media.
Evaluation of tree-based ensemble learning algorithms for building energy performance estimation

The data set used in the present study is obtained from the work of Tsanas and Xifara (2012), via the author’s personal web page (Tsanas 2017), to facilitate comparability of the results. Their work investigated 12 building typologies, all with the same volume (771.75 m3), but with varying relative compactness and surface areas (features X1 and X2 in Table 1). Other features include the wall area (X3), roof area (X4), and building’s overall height (X5). Feature X6 corresponds to the building’s orientation (2: North, 3: East, 4: South, 5: West) and X7 to the glazing area as a percentage of the floor area (0%, 10%, 25%, and 40%). Moreover, feature X8 represents the glazing distribution on each façade of the building: (a) uniform; with 25% glazing on each side, (b) 55% glazing on the north façade and 15% on the rest, (c) 55% glazing on the east façade and 15% on the rest, (d) 55% glazing on the south façade and 15% on the rest, (e) 55% glazing on the west façade and 15% on the rest, and (f) no glazing. For all the combinations of the aforementioned parameters, the heating load (Y1) and the cooling load (Y2) were simulated which are the targets of the data set. Table 1 provides a detailed description of the features and targets of the data set.
