Highly active and stable synergistic Ir–IrO2 electro-catalyst for oxygen evolution reaction

To evaluate the OER property of the Ir–IrO2 composites and IrO2, the samples were deposited onto Ti plates as anode working electrodes, which resulted in uniform catalyst films with a catalyst loading of 0.2 mg cm−2. Linear sweep voltammetry activities, Tafel plots, and stability tests using the prepared electrodes have been characterized in 0.1 M HClO4 acid solution. All the potentials quoted above are calibrated against a reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) for the comparison purpose.
