Stacy Scott, Head of Accessibility, Taylor and Francis

As a blind Mathematics graduate and text-to-speech user, I have both professional and lived experience from which to understand the importance of having access to digital content in a way that is tailored to every individual reader’s personal requirements.

I am currently Head of Accessibility for Taylor & Francis, where I and responsible for providing a clear and cohesive strategy on accessibility, building on the award-winning work T&F has already achieved.

Considered a "thought-leader" in accessible publishing, I have authored many papers and articles on accessible practice for inclusion, and am a regular speaker at events and panel discussions.

I advocate digital accessibility across many boards and networks, including acting as Chair of the Publishing Accessibility Action Group for the Publishers Association. A group which brings publishers, vendors, stakeholders and end users together, to further digital accessibility efforts in publishing.
