When will permissions be granted?

Taylor & Francis grants permission to use book material for the following reasons. Permissions requests can be made for English or another language

Authors, editors or contributors seeking permission to republish their own material in another publication will typically be granted permission free of charge when the total amount of material requested is no more than one chapter or 10% of the book.

Permission to use or republish a small selection of text, chapters, figures, tables, illustrations or images from a Taylor & Francis book.

Permission to use material from a Taylor & Francis Group book in an academic dissertation or thesis.

How can I request journal permission?

There are three ways you can request permissions at Taylor & Francis.

The Copyright Clearance Centre (CCC) Marketplace

Submit your request via the Copyright Clearance Centre Marketplace permissions clearing service. The processing time for this service is 3 – 5 business days.

PLSClear

Submit your request via PLSClear. You can use the widget to select your title. The processing time for this service is 3 – 5 business days.

Taylor & Francis Books Permissions form

Please note this service may take up to 10 business days to process and we recommend submitting your request via the CCC or PLSClear if possible.
