Carl is a Chartered Management Accountant who trained in industry after spending the first six years of his career working in Operations for Initial Textile Services.

He has experience of working for a number of global companies in the High Tech, Fashion Retailing and Media industries in a range of commercial accounting and shared services roles.

Carl moved on to become senior director of Finance and IT for GAP in Europe and then Carl was the Chief Finance Officer of Deutsche Post DHL Global Business Services for the UK and Ireland.

He joined Informa in 2010 as UK Shared Services Director and served as CFO for the Knowledge and Networking Division from October 2014. Carl became CFO of Taylor & Francis Group in February 2018.
