Koobface, a worm which travels via Internet in 2009, was strikingly a popular malicious software case that uses expansion of web-based life. The Koobface botnet computerizes production of current online profiles to get to know clueless clients, thus spamming and tempting connections that divert to malware. Another mainstream malware assault is finished via utilization of a noteworthy number of Twitter and Facebook end-user profiles which are not authentic or are currently unused. At that point, the lawbreakers stunt users in the interpersonal organization webpage into “friendling” or tailing those and tapping on their announcements that regularly resulted in opening of pernicious sites. Malware: Malware is a malicious program that consists of Trojan horses, viruses and worms. It can spread online to different users who relate to a social network. Many OSNs do not have a proper mechanism to protect the malicious content that flows between the users. It can be spread by fake profiles as well as the genuine users to steal personal information about the user and harm the system. Koobface (Baltazar, Costoya, and Flores 2009) was the first malware which propagated through Facebook accounts and later spread to another network like Twitter and Myface. The AV-test institute records over 3.9 lakh new malicious codes per day. These are observed by using some malicious detection tools like Sunshine and V Test which are classified based on their characteristics and saved. The survey report also describes the graph for the last 12 months with exponential growth of malware propagation and currently it can cross more than 650 crores. According to last 5 year statistics, every year around 10–15 crore new malwares are examined.
