Taylor & Francis publishes leading African and African Studies journals, disseminating and showcasing African research in the global arena. With a wide range of journals from the arts to zoology, economics to the environment, mathematics to music, Taylor & Francis Africa endeavours to actively support and advance African scholarship through our local partnerships, global networks approach.

Building on a strong tradition of scholarly work on Africa, Taylor & Francis Africa operates from an editorial office in Cape Town to support and strengthen regional journals in collaboration with learned societies and regional institutions. At the heart of our African operation are our long-standing co-publishing partnerships with local publishers UNISA Press, Medpharm and NISC (Pty) Ltd, which allow us to utilise local publishing networks and build on regional expertise. We also support Open Access and offer regional rates for African authors.

Taylor & Francis Africa is committed to promoting development initiatives that provide local access to scholarly content, and to supporting the advancement and development of scholarship in Africa, particularly amongst Early Career Researchers.
