Pimozide belongs to the diphenylbutylpiperidine class of antipsychotic drugs and has shown anti-cancer effects for melanoma and neuroblastoma via proposed anti-dominographic effects. This drug was also found to sensitize tumor cells to radiation and inhibited STAT-3 and STAT-5 signaling proteins, thus had potential activity in leukemia and prostate cancer [18].
