Group Sales Director
Christoph Chesher is Group Sales Director, with over 30 years’ experience in academic publishing. He began his publishing career in 1984 when at Blackwell Science, progressing to the position of International Sales Manager. In 1993, he joined Oxford University Press as Sales & Marketing Director for the Science, Medical & Journals Division. Shortly after Cinven’s purchase of Routledge from Thomson International, Christoph joined Routledge in 1997 as Sales & Marketing Director.
He holds an MBA from the University of Birmingham, as well as a BA Hons in History and an MLitt from the University of Stirling. He has a long association with the Stirling Centre for International Publishing and Communication at the University, and has attended as a guest speaker, external examiner, and more recently, as Chair of the Industry Advisory Board.
